Frequently Asked Questions

Renewals

The NMTCB no longer automatically mails pocket cards unless a $3 fee was included with your renewal. However, active certificants can now print their own cards for free by logging into the NMTCB website and selecting “Print Pocket Cards” at the bottom of the navigation menu. If you still require a physical card to be mailed to you, you can order one for $5 (postage included) via the NMTCB Marketplace . Once your order is received, a new card will be printed and mailed to you.

The NMTCB no longer mails printed paper renewals to active certificants. Instead, you will receive renewal reminders in your inbox starting approximately three months before your expiration date. To renew, please visit https://www.nmtcb.org/certificants/renewal and complete the process online. If your certification is not currently active and you require a specific application, you may request one by emailing board@nmtcb.org. Please ensure your email address is up-to-date in our database to receive these important notifications.
